When the Icaroni that were cast into the world forgot their place they inter-marriad with many other races only to create a new race, Goblins. Many goblins are short due to the majority of goblins having chosen to mate with gnomes and halflings. Over time the people lost their rat and bat like features and due to their people harvesting a type of fungi for dietary reasons their skin turned green.
