A Mind Flayer who has possessed the body of a Shapeshifter and played in the shadows for centuries, quietly taking over the personas of useful and powerful people. Amarelyh's ultimate objective is not well understood other than them being in pursuit of great power unlocked by Eldritch rituals in Unknown and something called That, Which It's Not. They have ruined countless lives in pursuit of this goal and apparently reveled in the suffering they caused.
