The Chamber is a loose alliance of Metalic Dragons, numbering no more than 100, that share resources and information across the world. Their primary and original purpose was to see that the Draconic Prophecy was to never be completed. The origin of the Draconic Phrophecy is so old, it pre-dates recorded history and its nature is mostly unknown, even to most members of The Chamber. Only dragons with their incredibly long life spans and elves of the Aerenal can study even a fragment of the prophecy. Some argue that it is a revelation of the end of the world, others of a new beginning. Whatever it means, it is obvious that the prophecy points towards the transformation of the world as we know it. It is said that the only remaining immortal Rakshasa knows the actual prophecy.
While most of the Chamber cares little about this prophesy, they have created other reasons for the Chamber to exist such as recording everything in the multiverse from the positions of the planes, to the moons and stars, to the location of the Ring of Siberys, and even creating the Dragon Marks.
