Citadel of Morpheus
The Dreaming is ruled over by Lord Morpheus the (aka the Sand Man), son of The Raven Queen, who has the power to enter and manipulate peoples dreams at will. He is usually benign but short with visitors and can come across as rude (although that is not his intention). He lives in his Citadel which floats through the Dreaming on a large land mass. The Citadel appears different to different people based on their aspirations and regrets. People that are have lived so that their dreams are full of wonder may see a golden city and wonderful greens, while others that live with regret may see a dark grey castle full of fog and dead tree's. Whatever the form, the Citadel houses a massive library full of the memories of every person that has ever lived on the material plane. There is also a special section for time variants, people who have lived 2 or more lives due to a time disruption.
The Dreaming (as well as the citadel) are full of living dreams and nightmares placed there by spell casters imaginations and few by strange ritual. These aberrations wander the Dreaming searching for purpose or to cause harm. They can not leave the Astral without a special ritual.
House of D'Taxniaz
D'Taxniaz is a little old lady that was once a halfling in the Material Plane. Appearing to be in her late 80's, she is mysterious as she never tells anyone her real name nor the truth about how she came to live in the Astral, and most doubt she even remembers. The few denisens around her that have met her multiple times simply call her The Lady or D'Taxniaz (The One Who Is). She has dwelled in the Astral for an unknown number of years but she claims it to be in the thousands. She suffers from Spell Psychosis, but is welcoming and kind, as long as you don't steal her things or insult her in any way. She has come across many travelers who do one of the two and she promptly become aggressive and cast True Polymorph, turning them into chickens. She has many of these chickens throughout her house and the land mass she has built her house upon. She cares for them, feeds them, and gives them shelter. She is a great source of information as she has lived in the Dreaming for a very long time and seems to be quite nosey.
The Fiddlers Green
A living greenland that resides in The Dreaming. Thought to be one of the oldest dreams, Fiddlers Green measures roughly a quarter mile across, making him one of the largest solid land masses in The Dreaming. He houses lush green grass, many tree's, and a river complete with a waterfall. His mass allows him to add gravity that one would be use to in the material plane. Other dreams like to frolic on Fiddlers Green as Unicorns and Fairies. Fiddlers Green himself does enjoy interacting with others, he can see and hear everything that happens on his terrain but knows that most find it more comforting to see a face, as his face may appear anywhere on his surface, although he prefers the trees and flowers. He speaks in a gentle, deep voice and usually appears wearing reading spectacles. Fiddlers Green is not much as knowledge of information, although he is always willing to hear a story, however his is one of the very few places in the entire Astral Plane that is safe, as anyone that seems to mean harm is instantly willed away to a far region of the Astral Plane.
