Frold used to be a deadly warrior, notorious for leaving rivers of blood on every battlefield he set foot on. He forsake fighting and wars after meeting his wife Syglin. They ended up tending a farmstead together while raising their child Skálmöld.
Frold would later become the champion of the arena in Waterdeep where he is now know as "The Chain Devil" for his unique fighting style incorporating the chains covering his body.
History
During The Dragon Wars, Victoro Cassalanter arrived at Frold's farm to recruit him to fight against the cult of the dragon. This was however a ????????.
Victoro would later return with Frold to his farmstead where Victoro would end up killing Syglin and burning down the whole estate. Skálmöld would survive this event and happen upon Frold's Raven Medallion. Frold received this medallion from his wife when they married eachother.
Frold started fighting as a gladiator under the Cassalanter family soon after this. It is not yet known why or how he ended up in this situation.
Current happenings
Reigning champion of the arena in Waterdeep, fighting as a gladiator for the Cassalanter family. He took part in the festivities of the Day of Wonders as the prize show-match against the winners of the Team Battle event in the Coliseum, The Trollskull Crushers.
They managed to put on quite a show for the citizens of Waterdeep, this fight being the only one for a while where it looked like there was actually a chance for Frold to lose a fight. But in the end Frold managed to beat all 5 members of The Trollskull Crushers. The last opponent standing happened to be his own daughter Skálmöld. Seemingly not being in full control of his own actions, it seemed like Frold recognized his child in the last moments of the fight, and as a parting gift he left her his prized Blink Dagger after using it to stab her in the ribs.
In the days after the fight against his own daughter, something seems to have changed within Frold.
During his latest fight he refused to draw a weapon or strike back at his opponent which caused him to lose his first fight in the arena ever. This news quickly spread around Waterdeep.
