Freya, sister to Freyr, serves as the spirit of the heavens above Muspelheim. She lives near Gotthjarta, where sulfurous steam mingles with celestial light, interpreting signs from clouds and constellations. Her connection to the skies is mirrored in her bond with her two white Fjellkats, Vinda and Snjór, who follow her silently and are said to sense changes in the wind before storms break. Together they wander the cliffs and springs at dusk, watching for omens. Freya’s wisdom bridges the practical with the spiritual — her counsel rooted in quiet observation rather than divine decree.
