The Council of Westport

Municipal Government

The Council of Westport is headed by the mayor, who oversees the running of the town as well as the Town Guard. Westport also governs the nearby town of Nightwick.

Mayoral elections are held every two years, and the new mayor nominates councillors who will serve alongside them. Despite the vote being democratic, a member of House Westport is very frequently nominated.

There are 7 councillors in the town, though most of these maintain separate jobs outside of government.
