The Westport Town Guard are responsible for keeping law and order in the town of Westport. The Captain of the Guard reports in to the Mayor and sits on The Council of Westport.
Structure
The Town Guard is small and flat-structured, borrowing names from military ranks. From least to most senior:
- Private: the initiate rank, required to work guard shifts throughout the town.
- Captain: commands the entire town guard.
