On le ship captain by Captain-Baldric (?) heading to the city of Al Sha Dir. Vikta is utilizing her Old woman form, Anika raggedy clothing she watches the waves and seagulls. Keeping out of the way while nearby Kenji on crates sunbathing, and Yozsu Pentaruss staying equally out of the way. Crew announces good foods, Anika and Kenji decide to be slow in going to get food. Yozsu follows, not fond of the sea. Prefers the desert sands of her home.

The Cook is energetic and has a new hearty slop of food to give. Yozsu goes to get food and sit alone. A  few tables away is a woman with leather armor and a sword, and a child of indeterminate age possibly preteens, with fine clothing.
Anika and Cynder meet, Coalette-the-cat on her shoulder a and the aforementioned child joins them, apparently used to luxury sailing. The child is visiting their mother, and the mother is unaware. He was apparently learning magic abroad. He tells them his name is Tristan.

Gresstina the strange woman who needs help keeping an eye on Tristan joins Kenji and Yozsu and offers work after Kenji mentions he’s going to look for work once at port. The job, help her escort the boy back to his mother safely. There is a decent payout, she has a guild connection in the city. She feels like they are being tailed, trouble has followed them here and there. Asks them to keep an eye out until we get to town--looking to split the reward if they agree. The boy asks Anika and Ember to do the same. Much to Gres’ dismay.

Yozsu, now has an owed debt via  Gres. Never owe a debt to Yaunti. Auburn curly-haired, green eyes, child, little lord, 12-year-old Half-Elf boy, Tristan Branford visiting mother. Protector Grestina Gillman is a blond-haired woman of Wood-elf decent.

A group has been following them for a few weeks, trying to get the boy, the group outnumbers Gres and so she sought out the help of these strange but capable-looking people--however what the Grannie (Vikta in disguise) can do she's not sure but the old woman assures her she can handle it. Gress and Ember spar, Ember wins and then the party is introduced to each other.

Anika finds the crew scamming the little lord at an urchins game practically stealing his coin. Anika scares the crew from cheating little lord out of money, giving them the Kubrick stare of psychoticness. Then she teaches the little lord a complicated version of goldfish. This is the first time of many that the party will notice Vikta Pear has a soft spot for kids.

Sometimes passes and a Pirate Ship The-Medusa comes alongside. These people are looking for young Tristan and are pirates--so the party gets ready to fight. Yoszu creates a large fog cloud as the pirates try to ram the ships together. The fog cloud obscures just enough to allow the party's current ship to just barely scrape by. The team obliterates the pirates blowing some off the side of the ship (Yozsu), shooting magical bolts of fire (Vikta), using literal fists of fire (Ember) and crossbow bolts (Kenji)

Anika (Vikta) takes the Captain’s hat and Yozsu takes his coat, and learn his name is Markus-Longbottom. The party coin the term Uno-Reverse as the pirates thought they were going to win but the party beat them at their own game. The party learns that The-Beggar-King sent the pirates after the boy, the Beggar King is Zandar Banford, Tristan's father, their orders were to collect the boy,  clean job, no witnesses. They miserably failed and the party takes the ship as their own. Gres is shocked that the party wants the the ship but doesn't fight it. The party pressures (read: scares the shit out of) Marcus and he gives them the deed and tells them about Chewy the Mimic chest who eats silver keys and is just the best boy.
