Party has split, Ember staying with Tristan and Gres. The rest race after Grannie Ankia (Vikta), who is chasing after those who shot arrows into the dining room. Yoszu quickly takes the lead and blinds one, Kenji follows her lead and wraps the man up in rope. Two of the Thieves dash away, grannie moves to catch them--gets hit, and then gets a grease spell thrown at her which she surfs--because why not?
Dunal goes the opposite way of the party to see another spy and he faces the man bravely. A spy tries to use infestation on Grannie--she dodges the mass of bugs. Grinning that grin as she does. The spy with Dunal tries to cast poison spray at him...it hits. Yoszu inflicts wounds , flaring her cobra hood and spitting at the man a burning liquid of acid and hurts the spy that attacked Grannie. (GO YOSZU!!!).
Kenji has words with the tied up man. “What do you plan to do with me?” Kenji: Death Glare and grin, he intimidates the fuck outta this poor man. Grannie dashes after the first spy catching him opening a manhole cover. He is scared shitless over Grannie’s quick moving geriactric ass! The spies with Yoszu attack, the burned one is trying to hit her and take her down if he can. She catches him as he tries to run away--giving him the Yuanti tail bitch slap.
Dunal gears up to take on his spy, he casts sacred flame. The Symbol on his armor lights up and sets the spy ablaze with radiant fire. Ember is stuck at the house, hanging out with the kiddo and Gres.
Yoszu’s remaining spy tries to run away casting blade ward upon himself. Not thinking he runs towards Kenji. Kenji hears his footsteps. Dunal’s spy tries to attack him--hoping to land a hit or two, the spy fails.
Anika’s spy looks terrified, he casts gust at her. She sees things blast past her but she holds strong standing her ragged clothes and feathers on her hat billowing in this gust of power. Kenji’s tied up spy tries to escape--failed miserably. Yoszu’s injured spy is trying to flail away as she approaches a gleam in her eye and her mace ready to knock his ass out. Swing Batter-Batter! He is knocked the FUCK OUT…
Kenji moves to hide to ambush/snatch the running thief. Kenji is the night, he is the darkness, the shadow realm’s best stealthy boi. Grannie activates a form of dread on her spy, and movies closer “Shouldn’t have run dear…”
Dunal continues against his spy. Kenji gets his new spy and ropes up that baby!
Another spy runs in and tries to chill touch grannie, “Oh dearie that tickled.” Her temp hit points from form of dread saved her from really taking any damage. Dunal’s spy ruuuuuuuns like a bitch, he manages to make some distance. Grannies frightened spy tries to attack her, and grannie is giggling at him as her temp hit points dwindle down to 3. Yoszu runs to Kenji to try to aid and she holds the unconscious acid hit spy. Kenji’s original spy breaks his ropes and ruuuuns.
Kenji goes after him as Yoszu takes up his newly bound spy. Kenji dashes off after him. Kenji just keeps yanking people into the void, the sneaky boi XD. Anika hits the first spy with her Agonizing Eldritch Blast. Dunal goes after the runner, casting sacred flame on him. His armor lights up and radiant fire shoots out at the runner hitting him easily. Anika’s second spy hits her and removes the remainder of her temp hit points, but she still says it tickles. Dunal is hit with poison spray. The spy in fear jumps into the building where Ember and Grestina are located--stupid mistake boi. Martha wants Ember and the child to go to the cellar. Ember gives an insight check, she only wants them to join for the boy. And hears the dining room’s shattering window--Ember sees him.
Tells the mother no funny business intimidates her. The spy with Anika tries his bs--and misses. Ember takes care of her newly acquainted spy. She obliterates him, killing him. Martha has a basement bunker--wtf??? How is she sooo prepared for this? How long has this been going?? Why is she so prepped? Kenji brings his spy over. Anika splashes her spy with acid and scares the other.
Yoszu’s seat spy has escaped and she moves to inflict wounds again! She hits him where it hurts. She hears a “Goooooood… goooood...” echo in her mind, her Dendari.
Kenji stabs the man, “Damn, man you had the best spot in the house and gave it up for this.” One of Anika runs away in the sewers. The second tries but is killed. She’s is PIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSED and plans to go after them. Yoszu intimidates the remaining conscious spy. An authoritative voice sounds out at the Manor. Ember is listening in. Possibly Town Guard/police, the maids have 0 composure.
Guard looks fancy and from another district with a fancy mace. Martha is *delightful*, as always. Guard tells her to lower her tone. LMAO OH BOI. She demands respect! He asks to speak with the team. He questions Ember, and Martha really wears out any and all kindness out of “lesser folk” like the guard and Ember. Ember tries to also get info on Sir Brandford aka the “Beggar King”, he is apparently a crook of sorts. Rowdy boy leader, caravan raids, drugs, and the like… three years he has really come into his title but he’s up to some shit. They're trying to bring them in.

Anika & Ember find kobolds are tending to the sewers! Anika catches up to Ember. They mimic Ember’s greetings! OH MY GODS SO PRECIOUS AND CUTE!! Ember obtains shiny can.
