We are starting off at the top of the round battling Direwolves. Vikta does a paltry 2 dmg as Ember casts dark vision on Kenji and prepares for the next round. Dunal preps for defending against an attack as well.
The hit direwolf attacks Vikta. He misses, as Vikta side steps, having been expecting the attack.
Kenji takes cover behind the bar aiming to shoot one of the wolves. The same one that attacked Vikta.
Ember is attacked by a wolf, but she dodges it easily. Two are now up directly against Vikta and Ember.
Another direwolf is going to climb inside the inn/tavern to attack inside. Oh boy...he attacks the window! He’s trying to get inside--correction the fucker made it inside. Another attacks Vikta, that hurts. Lmao That bitch bites Vikta. The remaining wolf rounds attack Ember making a bracket shape sandwiching Vikta and Ember. Ember manages to dodge.
Ember attacks valiantly and attacks with a hell of a hit to one of the wolves--killing the fucker with 3 hits.
Vikta hits orange hard-ish.
Dunal turns to the wolf that ran in from the window. He wastes no time hitting the wolf--who doesn’t look too good. ((Guys we should skin the wolves and make fur cloaks and other such accessories.))
Kenji attacks the wolf, hitting it hard.
Ember is attacked by a wolf--he tries to drag her away and she breaks out of it after a moment.
The indoor wolf is getting ready for his attack, picking Dunal as his target.
Outside Vikta is attacked again, she manages not to get dragged away, she hits him with a hellish rebuke with a “BAD DOGGY”.
Ember is attacked again. She hits back HARD but it's still standing. She tries to intimidate it.
It works. We can tell it is intimidated, but it shakes its head and gets back into stance.
Vikta hits the one wolf remaining on her side and shifts into her form of dread. She frightens the wolf but it shakes it off just like the other one.
Leo joins the fight! Attacking but Leo has already locked in on the wolf. Leo be careful! Killing the direwolf… but Leo crumples to the ground.
Vikta hears a click of Asha slamming on the direwolf, digging her beak into the wolf’s eyes that was attacking Vikta. Taking them down.
Dunal attacks the wolf attacking him. Hitting it hard, it doesn’t look good. It's on its last legs.
Yozsu goes for the remaining wolf outside with Ember and Vikta. NAT 20!!!! Its muscle mass and fur start to decay. It has aged quite a bit. She casts sanctuary on Ember adding a bit of warmth to the Genasi’s body…”My legs are ribbons! Ribbons!”
NO NO NO NOT LEO!! The remaining wolf is attacking Leo!! NO NO NO NO!!!

Ember covers Leo with her body. She heals a bit. She scoops Leo up and runs to put space between it.
Vikta shoots the wolf with a eldritch blast--down the throat, “Die.” Vikta turns to look at Asha concerned. The response is a blink.
Dunal goes to finish the fight.

Kenji cuts the wolf down, before it can hit Dunal.
Kenji checks on Ember.

The party uses their new signals that they decided during travel. The party picks up on the Nose Scratch signal for the party via Vikta.
The man is impressed and astonished at the party's abilities. The man is trying to be helpful but us-- but we are a standoffish group. When he mentions a vendor of clothing.
We move to find Stanamere and the others. We wanna head towards that Chapel.Vikta tells him to go home, as the party is “Battle HArdened” as he is not clearly that confident in us and we don’t trust him.

The church looks battered and weary.
Claws and fire mark the doors, we hear muffled voices. An inhuman scream sounds under the floor as the prayers stop. Stanamere sits smoking.
Vikta talks with Stan.
Somewhere down below a voice screams about needing food and starving. Yozsu asks about seeing the “boy” down below.
Kenji receives hush money as the party (ember, vikta, and Yozsu) head to check what’s downstairs. Kenji does remind the party that we aren’t going to be paid for this…
Kenji is ready to attack if need be.
Vikta goes to the priest, asking to see who it is. And is told no. The boy is 20, so not a “child” in Vikta’s books. That let me out was creepy via Syrinscape. The man is having a rough time of it for sure.
Dorru his son, and several other villagers stormed the castle in a revolt. Lured to the castle by a wizard in black robes, so did many of them. Dorru returned as a vampire. Vikta promises to brink aid if we find anything--*shrugs*
Yozsu goes to visit Sehir, and we are intercepted by a creepy old man on the way to the tavern.
Insight says: he is a piece of shit, he is satisfied having watched us nearly die.

Vikta grins knowing what’s coming and enjoying. Yozsu and Vikta flank Cynder.

Insight: the man wants to make a sale.
Ember signals to Vikta and Yozsu and Vikta takes action to break up the conversation. The group, minus Yozsu head inside to get some sleep.
Yozsu visits Shiva and Sehir *evil grin*. Oh boy…

Time that has passed: Week 2, Currently 9am
Cynder is still in control. Vikta says we need to get our charges and get going. Food awaits and it is a full house. Stanamere had venison apple stew and black prunes, and a salad.
Stan the man paces the room, and makes a speech.

A woman shambles in after commotion outside can be heard. She looks middle aged and dirty, and burlap clothing. In her arms is a malformed looking doll.
Alejandro tries to see what is wrong as the woman grabs him and screams.
Her beloved gertrude has been taken from the woman… If we find the girl there is money to be had a tiny bit. We’ll keep an eye out is all we can do for the little one. Her name is “mad mary” oh boy… and the girl is 16, a lovely commoner girl with brunette hair clothing that makes her look like a doll. Normally she would carry the stuffed doll the woman has. The two being separated is what causes the mother to feel worry.
We head to the burgermister’s home. It looks like it has been quite attacked previously. All windows are barred with wooden planks.
We head inside the mansion, the place is furnished. The place looks worn and in disrepair. A large gentleman is lying in a coffin, the burgermisters.
The party helps bury the dead man. Vikta is worried about running late.
Cynder didn’t care but Ember remembered. LOL Ember hates going back on her words. She will puppy dog eye Vikta as an apology. QwQ Ember will sulk the rest of the day. Giving Vikta a wide berth for the day. Ember doesn’t know lol. They did though. XD

We travel on the road for an hour, we smell more clear as day the smell of sweet delicious fresh baked goods. It smells divine and sweet and buttery--and possibly flakey.
There is an old woman with the pastries up ahead. *suspicious*. Oh there’s a child and an old man..
He tries to sell the child to the old woman. Vikta tosses a gold coin at the old woman, taking the child.
The man comes after them, and Vikta has an eldritch blast ready. Ember super punches the man. Ember sells the man to the woman.
Vikta is bitchy as the woman tries to force Ember to eat the pastry.
The old woman grabs Ember's hand and Vikta hits the woman with an eldritch blast.
“Spare me, I can give you things, I know things.” -Old woman says.
Cynder takes control as Vikta moves to stop Ember from touching the woman. Cynder takes initiative to ask about the missing girl.
Vikta now has a kid XD. the old woman vanishes.
