While Vikta and Kenji were getting Vikta’s fortune and the Parties fortune read Dunal and Yozsu make “awkward” eye contact. Yozsu moves to speak with Dunal--for “bonding time”. Ember and Leo are looking around the camp for Leo’s “owner”. Irena and Ismark are being kept away--at the Vardos, they look unhappy/concerned. As Stanamere returns to the Vestani.
Something seems off and suspicious.Ember goes to investigate the situation, feeling like something is off. Stan is like “that’s an awful lot of noticing”.Now Stan is questioning her--biiiiitch you’re being creepy/weird… He claims its because their notoriety and like...they are in unfriendly territory. If Vikta was there she’d smack a bitch.

Dunal is 6’8’. Yozsu is 7’5” if you count the long snake neck. Lmao love it. Yozsu brings up the current travel/adventuring and how he is holding up. Dunal wasn’t expecting *this* type of a party. He was hoping for a brighter more good party... he doesn’t like the mass killing.

They talk about serving their gods and such. Yozsu serves the Denari the Night Serpent. Both their serving purposes is due to being misfits/outcasted/disowned for their differences.

Vikta relays their sentiment about that. She apologizes for her patrons' stuff. Kenji and Vikta share their sad stories.

Tensions rise a bit, and the party really wants to get over there and get their party member away from the creepier. Ember jumps on Vikta’s back. As the party tries to intimidate the drunkards. The men wanted ismark and his sister’s information. Vikta sends Stan a message about what they were up to.
Ember the whole time was signaling to the party to get her the FUCK OUTTA there. Vikta is piiiiised, but also carrying Ember on her back.

Kenji’s senses make everything seem muffled/distorted. However, clear as day from 60ft back something whispers out the word, Kenji over and over… Kenji’s head shifts looking behind him, seeing a tree line and bushes.
THe team keeps talking about the situation, Vikta talks about being charismatic. Ember calls Vikta cute--causing her to blush. Dunal makes an agreeing motion with Ember. Vikta tries to discuss the fact that we need another signal to ensure that whoever can move fastest can get to who needs it with magic or otherwise.

More talking proceeds. Vikta tells the group she “nearly” died and that is due to being left behind. The party is on board to kill the fuckers that did that. Vikta also promises that if they can they’ll get cynder to their home plane. And that they’d “miss her”... and uh well Cynder leans in flustering the changeling.

Ember speaks to Shiva and decides to see what she’s about.the woman is clearly nervous about something. She worries about the parties quick work to fighting, and attacking every problem physically. (Murder HOBOS) XD
Ember hears the siblings--namely Ismark complaining about the food. Vikta is like “at least its not garbage…I’ve eaten garbage.” Vikta really doesn’t approve, nor did Ember, so Vikta was shaming the man with her history. Vikta approves more of the sister who was perfectly happy with her meal understanding what the vestani and party are doing for them.
Dunal looks to Vikta, also having eaten trash. Vikta just would share a look with Dunal like, can you believe these "nobles" and their bullshit?
He would shake his head to Vitka I... honestly can't. When did you eat trash?

The Shiva is shocked. Ember is kinda horrified. Dunal and Vikta find they have similar time frame for missing their families. Vikta now thinks even more highly of Dunal.
The party mostly goes to speak to madam Eva, and Shiva helps keep watch.

Ismark goes to use the restroom and Vikta stops a Vestani from intervening.She insults Ismark about not wanting to see anything. She honestly wasn’t meaning to insult but it happened.
Vikta catches a glimpse of the vestani leaders and is curious as to what is about to happen. Meanwhile, Dunal, Ember and Yozsu enter Madame Eva's tent in hope to have their fortunes read. Some time passes as the vistani leaders chat, there is an upset in the conversation. The talking stops, the silence that fills the air for only a few seconds is so tense it feels like an eternity. Suddenly, the two vistani parties stand up into a stand off as they draw their weapons.
