- LoD: timed attack, turn based battle system
- Skill Cooldown system to encourage strategy.. (Unlike typical rpg's where OP tactics can be spammed.)
- Players will be able to set 2-3 combos for battles, as opposed to only having one available.
- Many of the original LoD combos will be recreated, including many new ones.
- Most characters will be locked to specific weapon classes.
- Weapons will be included according to lore; Each weapon comes with a stock combo for that weapon.
- Characters can also learn combos on their own, through combat, story events/quests, or thru finding manuals, etc.
- Spell, combo, & weapon proficiency can be improved through use.
