Orcs give an account of their exploits through ritualized scaring. Every time they slay an enemy in combat they make another cut in their skin. Every orc is able to proudly describe the details of each of their scars. Some of the more seasoned warriors have their entire bodies covered in scars.

There is an annual great hunt called a gorugen in which thousands of orcs encircle all the game in a large area and close it in. Each orc was only allotted one spear; failure to kill an animal was met with ridicule.

Acts of bravery and skill are rewarded. In one battle, an enemy warrior killed the warg that the Eye of Mok’Norgal was riding. When the warrior was captured he admitted what he had done and was pardoned and taken into the Eye’s service with the nickname “Arrow”. Arrow rose to become one of the Eye’s greatest leaders.

Orcs have no patience for weakness.

The older orc warriors respect the Empire as clearly they are strong and a worthy foe. Younger orcs feel that their subjugation is unjustified and chafe under it.

Hospitality is considered one of the greatest honors that can be bestowed.

Orcs are concerned with survival over artistic achievement.

They do not apologize for past actions, nor do they demand apologies from their enemies.
