Swordsman

You have trained relentlessly with the sword, the finest of weapons. You fight with skill and precision.

Equipment: A bladed melee weapon such as longsword, rapier, scimitar, katana, or greatsword.

Additional Rules: Your sword is unique. Name it, and write down something it has defeated and something that has defeated it. 

Some Swordsman powers are Strikes. You can perform a strike whenever you attack by granting yourself disadvantage on the roll. You can only perform one Strike per roll. You gain the benefits described by a strike only if the strike is successful. 

Complications: You leave a wide opening. The next time you take damage before your next Healing Surge, you take 1 additional damage. 

Experience: You gain Swordsman XP when you face or observe someone else using a sword in combat who is your Swordsman level or higher. You can only gain XP this way once per person per week.
