Outcast from the elder's brain and Illithid colony for disagreeing with the new radical mind influenced by the Continuum Crystal shard within it, Squidhead was living in isolation near the cavernous chamber leading up towards Stormpeak. Met by Geoffrey after exploring a particularly damp and reclusive cavern, Squidhead laid eyes on his soon-to-be pupil for the first time. Taking a particular interest in Geoffrey, the two grew as master and apprentice as Squidhead taught Geoffrey his ways and abilities. Squidhead with his own motivations maintained the direct path leading through the Underdark to his former colony to which he was outcast and tossed aside. When the party finally made it to the elder brain, they were betrayed by both the ascended Farric possessing Aeols body, as well as Squidhead himself aiming to become the next elder brain and lead the colony himself. Squidhead was decapitated by Radley Addington in the final moments of the grand battle.
