Fineas Feric

Descended from a long lineage of royal high elves seated on the elder council of Aerenal, a small island state and advanced magocracy of elves, Fineas has destined for a seat on the council himself before disaster struck his family. With his magically inept brother Ares Feric seeking his place on the council, the two plotted against Fineas's passing of the Trial of The Arcane elements which was a final arcane test of prospective Aefir school of magic students. In his final year, he attempted the trial with his friend Elora Aefir and Tyrael Aefirs recklessness which nearly got him kicked out of the trial due to being discovered entering the southern jungles of the island early by the school's headmaster. Making it through the trials and tribulations of the arcane elements, Fineas and Elora faced their darkest demons, and a dangerous wraith formed in the final arena of the trial nearly killing both Elora and Fineas before a magical pendant given to Fineas by his mom protected him from imminent death. Deciding his journey was elsewhere after being betrayed and sabotaged by his brother, he contemplated a while before setting out to the east sea adrift searching new purpose in a land rumored to be named Tolria far across the shining sea. Finding the shores of Alpia after much travel, he met the party and so began his many-year friendship with many of the adventurers he grew to call close allies and lifelong friends. Hunting the Infinitum cult plaguing the land, Fineas had run in with the false specter of his mom promising comfort and safety in the arcane disaster of Solisnek. Slowly losing himself and later choosing to forget his memories of his past in Aerenal entirely, Fineas grew cold and assumed the alter ego and cruel anarchist known as the Leviathan. Working subtly to the destruction of the known order of Tolria, Fineas as the Leviathan caused much chaos and damage in the Northern Kingdoms, weakening them for a future Bastilian invasion. In the events of the continuum crisis, Fineas was killed by balthazar after being power word killed after his release from the amulet.
