Mystra

The divine goddess of arcane power and magic, Mystra is one of the wisest and oldest of the pantheon which controls the threads of magic. Known as the mother of all magic, Mystra controlled all manner of magical abilities and granted or revoked them at her whim. In her reclusive island of Mystera, she roamed the unknown lands and observed the doings of mortals, especially noting those mortals of immense arcane power. Eventually overcame by Kalekai Blackhand and having the staff of magic stolen, she was later aided by the party and had her staff returned.
