The caravan tells us of the great Mid Summer Festival. It sounds like amazing fun and the party is keen to experience the festival. The party keep travelling and come across a fallen tree that Rascar attacks in order to blast out of the way. The forest suddenly starts to die around them, so the party quickly heals the tree to stop it from dying. This creates a portal that Greycoat steps through.
Stepping through the portal he speaks with Sehanine whilst the party waits for him to return. Greycoat eventually teleports back to the party but cannot be seen. Eventually, Greycoat teleports back through the portal and tells us the truth about his background.
- He isn't the true king of the Winter Court
- He will never rule it and cannot change the Goblin Markets
- He has been using the party all along...
After some quick discussion, the party gets moving again, all somewhat doubtful of each other's intentions. The party start to come across some statues, some women, some children and some men. Zee (Zameia) Dusk carefully places a doughnut on the head of one of the statues as an offering for protection. As she gets closer Zee (Zameia) Dusk can see how terrified the statues all look... Whispers start to emanate from the forest. Greycoat gets a vision of a silhouette with four glowing eyes. So Rascar prays to his patron, but withering tentacles suddenly appear and start to crush the statues, giving chance to the party and caravan. They run full speed and manage to get across the river where the tentacles can travel no further.
Travelling further, the caravan comes across The Summer Markets. In the markets, the party explores and makes use of their free time.
- Greycoat goes to The Lush Goose and earns some gold.
- Raine goes to the Three Crowns Circus with Zee (Zameia) Dusk and meets two Dragonborn jugglers, Spark and Flutter. Raine is in awe of the performers and asks them to show her some tricks.
- Zee (Zameia) Dusk gets everyone pastries.
- Greycoat goes shopping and gets a book about dragonborns and gives it to Raine.
After a short time in the markets, the party get back on the road with the caravan and make their way to The Wayhouse.
