Dol Arrah is the Sovereign of Sun and Sacrifice. She is the light, not only the light provided by the sun, but also the light within us. Many Vassals view her as being as important as Aureon and Boldrei in the formation and maintenance of a community. She represents justice, and the value of personal sacrifice for the good of others. She is also the patron of those who bring light to the dark places of the world, and encourages those who fight to do so with wisdom and honour.
She is the sister of Dol Dorn and The Mockery. She has a tempestuous romance with Arawai, who is drawn to her sun aspect but simultaneously opposed to her position as a war god, which keeps them from being a perfect match. They are nevertheless drawn to each other, in a never ending song and dance.
She is often depicted as a human or half-elf knight in (literally) shining armour. Rarely, she is depicted as a red dragon.
