Clan Soldorak is one of the ruling clans of the Mror Holds. Sol dorak means "defender of the realm", and the mythical Soldorak fills this role in the clan's myths. Soldorak is the most flexible of the ruling clans, and the most likely to adopt individuals into the clan that aren't related to them. The clan has always seen itself as an underdog, despite now being one of the wealthiest clans in the Holds, and they have a strong belief that the ends justify the means. As an extension of this, the clan is also the most accepting of symbionts and the use of the Daelkyr's weapons against them.
Clan Soldorak founded the Aurum, originally as an act of rebellion against Galifar, and now as a means to combat the influence of the Dragonmarked Houses.
