The Kel Gryfaen are a warband amongst the Valaes Tairn that specialise in aerial combat, specifically aerial griffon cavalry. The Kel Gryfaen trace their origins back to the ancient conflict between the Valaes Tairn and Dhakaan. Today, the Kel Gryfaen are based in Valenar, where they patrol the borders of the Blade Desert and prepare for the next war.
