2. Heracles Arc

You reached Rhodskirke and went to the docks to meet with the Synergy Group - a mysterious group looking for a mercenary group to act as a sub contractor. Their elven representative Ullanel challenges a smoky tavern full of mercs and cut throats to find a mysterious figure code-named Heracles. You trace the shapeshifter to the Arena and met Victoria - the new Champion fighter; Percy - son of the local Lord Rhoderick and lover of poetry and chivalry and Reinette - a terrified cleric who killed her best friend in the arena. You find Heracles who promises to go back with you if you best the others in a fight. 

You manage to win (somehow, wtf) and take the captive to the Aziraphale and Crowley Hotel and hand him over to the elf. The elf hands you over a map to the middle of Lake Hawthorne. A mousefolk detective bursts in after the elf disappears looking for the Synergy Group and asks you to not deal with them.

In the morning, you meet with the detective Baszell. He explains that the Synergy Group seems to be behind a lot of political manoeuvring, disappearances and murder in the city. Every time they try and trace back to them, the trail runs cold. He asks you to meet with them and to pass over information of what they are trying to do and he gives you a magnifying glass to assist. The magnifying glass - you find - cuts through visual illusion magic. It's a sweet magnifying glass.

You use the map to find a pocket dimension in the lake and go through a very convoluted maze to find the group. Using the magnifying glass, you cut through the illusion that Viktor uses and see that instead of a full council of robed figures is one middle aged half elf called Viktor. He removed an essential part of your character (such as your scales) before allowing you to walk around to make your decision to join.

You meet the orc Gronak - the night security watchman, Garfield - the neutral party restaurateur and Varia Tinsmith - a dwarven warrior who give differing ideas about the group and their goals. You also go into the office to find the Hooded Figure that had originally started Sybil looking for the Wands of the Seven Sisters. She tells you some things - mostly confusing and vague. She calls herself Cassandra.

You decide to join and there was much rejoicing but Viktor has advised you cannot let people know about this place and that most of their agents are spies in the world and will 100% grass you in. Should you give away information about Synergy Group, he would
