Like all people, wizards go through various stages of life. Some have families, raise their children, take care of their own aging parents, and eventually become old and frail themselves. A familiar can be a critical helper during these phases.

You have served in the role of caregiver for your master, helping them or their loved ones. In that capacity, you learned to cook, bathe, and clothe those entrusted to your care. For injuries and illnesses, you picked up skills in medicine and herbs. You helped your wizard in sacrificial ways, for which they can never repay you.
