Obelisks

There are obelisks that float miles above the ground. They are generally a giant dark stone or crystal. Many have some sheen to them that is some other off color. They hover in place in whatever location where they exist. They spin very slowly. Only through constant observation can you see this slight spin, otherwise they appear stoic in their ever presents. There are a few known ones in North Morley. The closest one hovers just above the Spire to the south. It is a dark multiple sided obelisks with a slight green tint to it. That tint can only be seen as the sun bounces off of it. On very clear days the obelisk at the spire can be seen from the city of Eadwald.

There are many myths and stories about the obelisks. They are what has brought magic into the world. They cap magic and make it really weak. They are what caused the demons to come here. The demons are here in Alcott to find the obelisks. The Lothcats are the only thing that protects us from the evil power of the obelisks. The gods gave them to Alcott as a gift. They are the only things stopping the great collapse.
