Summoning and Portal Spells

Spells the have Summoning and Portal effects are very risky to cast. They have a chance of bringing in a demon every time they are cast. Casting them is always seen as a form of evil by most magical groups. Most people view magic with great suspect already and might just view all magic as evil anyway. 

Almost all summoning spells can be cast in two ways. One is to cast them as a ritual that behaves similarly to find familiar. When cast as ritual that are 100% safe from summoning a demon but limits the results to only creatures that are within a 2-mile radius. This summoned creature would arrive and hang out with the caster for up to 8 hours. In both cases you are actually brining a creature to you. If it dies, the body just stays there and must be dealt with.
