Summon/Portal Effect Table
When you cast a spell that is marked as being a Summoning or Portal spell roll d100 plus the spell level squared on the effects table. Any effect on the table is considered hostile. Most will attack anything they can. They likely kill the weakest creatures first. If they cannot tell they attack the closest creature. According to Demon Lore, every time a demon kills a creature, they become more powerful.

81-84 | 65-69 | Mysterious gray beings materialize around you and shift out of existence with you. 1d4 rounds later, you're back exactly where you were. WTF?! |
85-87 | 70-74 | Time freezes, you and all allies are teleported to a pocket dimension for 8 hours, then restored in time exactly as you were, but naked. (Instant long rest, but equipment doesn't return for another hour.) |
88-89 | 75-79 | You rip a hole into the Positive/Negative Plane. Roll a die. Odds is Positive, evens is Negative. For the next 3d4 rounds of combat, any creature starting its turn up to 10' from the space the spell was cast into heals or takes 2d4-1 points of damage. |
90-93 | 80-84 | Spiritual Weapon. A spiritual weapon (level equals you maximum spell slot) appears in the nearest unoccupied space, and it immediately attacks you if possible. The weapon moves on the shortest path toward you before each of your turns and attacks you if possible. It disappears in 10 rounds or if you fall unconscious. |
94-95 | 85-89 | Flumph(s) Arrive. A portal opens in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of the caster. 1d6 flumphs coming pouring out of the portal. They attack. |
96-97 | 90-94 | Modron(s) Arrive. A portal opens in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of the caster. Modron start to come out of the portal. The is based on the level of spell slot that caused the rift. 1st 1 Monodrone, 2nd 3 Monodrones, 3rd 1 Duodrones,4th 1 Tridrones,5th 1 Quadrones,6th 1 Pentadrones, 7th 3 Pentadrones,8th 2 Pentadrones and 2 Quadrones,9th 2 Pentadrones, 2 Quadrones and 3 Monodrones |
