Song 'A Man Named Rain

Session

13

AUG/20

On the first part of the journey

I was looking at my family

There was dad and sis and cousin Kobra Kai

And all the other members of the Yavapai

The first monster met was a shark in the sand

But the spiders were the worst

The barf was long and the vertigo strong

But never did I worry about thirst

I’ve been through the desert with a man named Rain

He’s special, not mundane

In the desert, water still comes from the Rain

Now we need to go out and try to reclaim

La, la la

After two weeks, in the desert sun

The tribe was a just a band

After three weeks, in the desert sun

We found a temple in the sand

And later Amun’Re, his man stole Rain away

And now our revenge will be planned

You see I’ve been through the desert with a man named Rain

He’s special, I proclaim

In the desert, water still comes from the Rain

Now we need to go out and try to reclaim

La, la la

For our band, it was plain to see

We go rescue Rain and offer no mercy

There was mom and bro and dragon no fly

And all the other members of the Yavapai

Our tribe is a band with a mission insane

With no other path we can choose

Under the tribe lies a heart made of Bane

You can see it in the tattoos

You see I’ve been through the desert with a man named Rain

He’s special, not mundane

In the desert, water still comes from the Rain

Now we need to go out and try to reclaim

La, la la
