Typically, the spell in ancient times was cast with a tiny bell and a piece of fine silver wire. The tiny bell is not a problem, as they can be crafted from lizard scales and tiny stone. This works but only makes the audible sound for up to 30 feet of the casting. Silver wire is nearly impossible to find. If you did you would be rich, bitch. Thin silk thread is a great replacement in this spell. The best replacement is a special spider silk thread created by harvesting it from the large wolf spider. It is a very strong replacement.
