Iris was created by a powerful spell committed by the Dargean. A banishment that sent chromatic dragons to neighbouring planes. Iris Iknar was made and so was Karna-Kar, Iris was a creature of light while Karna was a creature of darkness. Bound to the Feywild and Shadowfell respectively, they have each evolved in their environments to become something unlike their original forms. Something far more imposing.
