Gregor was a captain of the Elusive Fortune, a ship of bootleggers that travelled the Hourglass Sea. They sold items legal in one country to another where it was outlawed, reaping high profits for their travels on the high seas.
Gregor suffered a mutiny by his crew after taking a lion's share of the wealth they had accrued. His crew locked him in a cage and winched him half way up to the crow's nest. His imprisonment all ended when a great mist rolled across their ship, and with visibility low, and a lack of expertise that Gregor brought to sailing, they had a catastrophic crash, killing them all.
At least until Gregor's soul was forcefully dragged back to host his skeletal remains, by none other than Teo Ramu...
