After fighting their way through a Tarnished Dargean and cultists devoted to Karna-Kar, the party find twisted humans that have suffered a terrible transformation. Limbs mimicking those of sea life creatures and infested with parasitic worms, these stranded sailors have fallen into servitude of what they call the Unknown.
After destroying an Element Stone and freeing it's primordial spirit, the party must face the Mother of Worms. This being is horrifying to behold, powerful, and other worldly, but ultimately meets its demise. Mornington Lormanston however suffers at the hands of its offspring, becoming infected by burrowing worms.
