One of six space elevators which supply Earth with off-world goods. The Tower is of great strategic import, being the only space elevator not held by one of The Five Galactic Sovereigns. Though the Jovangellian Empire briefly gained control of it, they were ousted several years ago by The Tower Defenders, who had held it for many years previously and have continued to hold it since. Though originally located in Journey City, The Tower was physically transported by a mysterious defense system within the city, and now stands in the center of the bay between the three Pillars. This has earned it the nickname, "The Lady of the Lake."
