The Yabusame is one of the more uncommon offerings from QualiMech. Built on the same chassis as the Yasuke, but utilizing a different design philosophy for the rest of the construction. Some of the armor has been removed and a larger reactor is utilized, allowing it to have incredible maneuverability, along with an improved sensor/targeting suite; making it well suited to mid-range engagements light and medium AV firearms by being able to rapidly target enemies, move fast enough to flank enemies, and still be able take a hit.
The reason it is not more commonly used is that the design team was too ambitious in their development, causing them to go over-budget and development ended and the design shipped before all the issues could be resolved; with the two most commonly reported issue being the reactor suffering a meltdown and the targeting system misidentifying friendly and non-combatants as hostiles. Given this, the AV is always dangerous, in the hands of someone who can handle these design flaws it is only dangerous to one's enemies; but for those not familiar with its reputation, it can be as dangerous to oneself and allies at it is one's enemies.- Mobility: bipedal
