Abilities

Fey Runescars. The Hagspawn has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Spell Eater. A Hagspawn (Bheur) has seven carved Runescars in their skin, two on the chest, two on the upper arms, two on the backs of the hands, and one on the face that their Bheur mother gifts them with, containing spells of the House of Seasons, when they reach adulthood. The process is painful, but necessary in a world that shuns and aims to eradicate her progeny. Runescars are dormant until activated and cannot be dispelled.

The Hagspawn can use their reaction when another creature casts a spell that targets only them. If they do, the Runescars absorbs the magic of the spell, cancelling its effect and gaining a number of charges equal to the absorbed spell's level. However, the maximum amount of of charges that can be absorbed is seven and spells going over that will not be absorbed. For each Aspect of the Fractured Goddess that is made whole, the Hagspawn will be blessed each dawn by that Goddess with 1 charge, (Maximum 7). Currently, Auril has been freed from the corruption of the Ten Faceted Black Diamond - so 1 charge is gifted.

Magical Empowerment. While the Runescars are active, the Hagspawn can use an action to invoke the Fractured Goddess and expend some of its charges to cast one of the following spells, using their spell save DC (WIS or CHA). All Runescar spells target only the Hagspawn or an item in their possession, even if the spell could normally be bestowed on another subject.

Unravel Magic. (1/Day) The Hagspawn targets one creature it can see within 120 feet of itself. The target must succeed on a DC (WIS/CHA+PB) Constitution saving throw or take (10d6) force damage, and each spell of 5th level or lower on the target ends. Each spell ended provides charges for the Hagspawn's Runescars.
