BACKGROUND
- woodcarver in a town ruled by a tyrant named Ti'Pano
- Ti'Pano was hated by all, but so feared that no one dared to step up and rebel against his autocratic principles. no one wanted to be tortured or put to death go figure
- one day, fed up with the injustices, he and a bunch of co workers launch and ill-prepared attack on the tyrant
- failed miserably, aelar and his chums went into the woods to hide
- decided to join the nearby monastery to find peace, start anew, and keep nothing from his old life except for his name and for his hatred for the tyrant, Ti'Pano
- he trains to be ready for when Ti'Pano wants a rematch
