Fire genasi on Terenas are believed to have originated from the ashes of the great Firelord Pyhrus, who perished during the Elemental Wars. As Pyhrus' power was fading away, it manifested into the form of fiery, humanoid creatures who became known as fire genasi. Many fire genasi were left without purpose after Pyhrus' demise, but some found a new calling as powerful sorcerers, pyromancers, or warriors, using their affinity for flames and heat to become feared and respected across the land. Despite their origin, fire genasi do not worship Pyhrus as a deity, instead, they honor his memory as the source of their powers.
