Friaz Sector is a frigid and isolated sector of the universe, ruled by the cruel and powerful Galactic Overlord, Invar. The sector is shrouded in darkness and cold, with many worlds covered in eternal night and inhabited by creatures of darkness. Invar's role in the Cleansing Wars was to bring cold and isolation to any world that would not submit to the First Sorcerer's rule. Many worlds in the sector were frozen over, making them uninhabitable and haunting their inhabitants with terrors of the dark.
Despite the harsh conditions, many adventurers are drawn to the sector in search of the ruins, structures, and fortresses of the old Empire that lie undiscovered in the depths of the region. These explorers face numerous challenges, including the dangers of the cold and the creatures of darkness that inhabit the sector. Very few of them actually return from their expeditions. The secrets buried within the Friaz Sector are many, and the few who are brave enough to search for them risk their lives in pursuit of knowledge and treasure.
