Upon following Bog (Senior) further into the Ardeep Forest the party encounted a corruption that appeared to be spreading. Bog warned them
about the possible dangers lying ahead and how the forest turned against him just days before.
The party ventured further and was halted by a deep voice, of what later appeared to be a Treant.
Theodore Whitley answered the request to leave with a witty comment after which the party found themselves entangled by roots as dryads started casting their spells.
The party succesfully managed to overcome them and walked closer to this circle of stone, the Circle of Dryads.
Here a black, tar-like substance was slowly covering the ruins as the party quickly ventured inwards, shouting the password: Vassorum which they had heard before. At which an entrance to a temple below opened.
Here they saved the Giant elk spirit Vassorum, which seemed to be suffering from the effects of housing an Hanbalani Altas, previously provided to him by a dark elf (Drow).
