This is a Treehouse style citadel connecting various vast trees in a web of metal structures and walkways. The House of Welham is proud of its old ways and cultural heritage as treefolk. It is a natural home for rangers and hunters.
There is one part of the citadel that is below the ground and that is the 'Temple of Roots'. This temple is under the earth and incorporates the roots of the giant trees of the woodlands into its design. The House of Welham say that all the roots of all the trees of the woodland are connected and that they share information with each other in much the same way that the network does for those partaking of the kings law. They say that certain mystics can speak to the roots and become part of that system. It is also thought of as a place to contemplate your own roots in the landscape, in your House and amongst your friends and family.
