Office of the Infernal Finders

The Office of the Infernal Finders is based at Tower of the Infernal Finders in the citadel of Bond Tower. It is an office of The Society of the Bond and is tasked with routing out all infernal magic and any prohibited infernal technology from The Kingdom. This task is championed by King Reton Carnhold. What constitutes infernal magic and technology is a matter of much debate in the order and elsewhere.

The generally accepted definition is any magic or technology that breaks or threatens to destabilize the natural balance and order inherent in the underlying structure of creation. This phrasing is vague enough that the Bond could argue that almost any magic or tech which they or their masters oppose falls into this category. In reality power and politics play a larger role than theology in determining who is allowed access to what. The technology of most concern to the The Society of the Bond and hence to their office is artificial intelligence which is viewed as an abomination. There is none allowed in The Kingdom on pain of death. This is the reason the drone pilots must be visually present to prove that the technology is not capable of flying by itself and mimicking intelligent life. 

They are known for wearing long hooded robes and masks that display no face but rather some abstract pattern. 

They ride on the backs of giant bloodthirsty bats, the only flying Giant Steeds in The Kingdom.
