In most Xenbox official games, Ability Score progression happens at a much faster rate. Also, ability score caps have been lifted. Increasing a score about 20 costs 2 point per ability score increase, increasing past 30 cost 3, etc.
Each category stacks! Example: You go from level 3 to level 4. If only taking ability points and not feats, you would gain 1 AP from Every Level, 2 AP from Every Two Levels, and 2 for Every Four Levels; for a total of 5 Ability Points.
Every Level
Every level you gain an ability point. These points can be saved up for later use.
Every Two Levels
Every two levels you gain a feat through the Feat Progression rule. Alternatively, any of these feats can be traded for two ability points.
Every Four Class Levels
Every four levels gained in any particular class you gain two ability points, this number is listed on your Class Leveling Table. This means that a multiclassing character will gain fewer Ability Points and/or feats. Alternatively, these can be traded for a feat.
