The party set out for the Imperial Ball and the unveiling of the The Imperial Leviathan Corps
- Each of the heroes gathered at the The Knotted Beard to prepare.
- Serenity Woodbury was invited to join the party entering the ball but declined and asked to stay outside with the other servants.
- Inside the ball they were introduced as the "Emerald Fury"
- Sybalia (Syb) Anning gossiped with another guest about Major Rhett Belmont and Commander Lilliana Laurence courtship
- She also place a wager with Camilla Wyrmeye who was managing books, likely for Brathivar, the Operator and his organization
- There was a grand imperial dance wherein participants not only completed the dance in step but had to identify which other dancers were actually illusions.
- Lady General Theodora Whiteraven then introduced the party to Randuil Quillborne of Imperial College.
- In moving about the ball room the party noted that there was an empty throne next to that of Empress Regina Gloriana's. They learned that her husband was lost when the Imperial City was brought through to reality prime.
- Throughout the ball, Katizar "Kati" Ubane was having odd feelings and heard a voice in her mind.
- The gathering moved into the palace courtyard where they were rallied by the Unknown to announce the Corps.
- During unveiling the flagship of the corps, the HML Olympic was presumably hijacked by Zari and her faction. It attacked the other leviathan and destroyed it.
