Using a bludgeoning weapon, a creature may make a single attack roll with this weapon against an unaware, surprised target. If the attack hits, it does no damage, but the target must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 8 + the weapon attack bonus, or be stunned until the beginning of its next turn. If the save fails by 5 or more, the target is knocked unconscious.
