Triple Threat

Roguish Archetype

A Triple Threat is so named for their ability to seemingly be anywhere and deal with any foe at once. Stories of triple threats speak about them working together to take down groups of enemies many times larger than themselves, by wielding elemental force against their targets until none remain.

Elemental Power

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you must choose an element: fire, air, water, or earth. From that point on, you are a firelacer, airlacer, waterlacer, earthlacer. You can't choose another element, even if you later get to choose again.

Basic Lacing

You gain your element's Basic Lacing abilities (Firelacing, Airlacing, Waterlacing, Earthlacing).

Elemental Dig

When a creature is hit with a weapon attack within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to fire a bolt of elemental power at the target, in addition to the weapon's damage. The extra damage is 1d4 bludgeoning damage. This dig applies your Sneak Attack if it is available to you.

Novice Forms

Also at 3rd level, choose two 1st-level lacing forms of your element. You can initiate each of these forms once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest.

Elemental Assist

At 9th level, you can use the Help action as a bonus action. Additionally, when you use the Help action to aid an ally in attacking a creature, the target of that attack can be within 30 feet of you, rather than within 5 feet of you, if the target can see or hear you.

Intermediate Forms

Also at 9th level, choose two 2nd-level lacing forms of your element. You can initiate each of these forms once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest.

Strength in Numbers

At 13th level, you gain a bonus on any Deception, Intimidation, or Persuasion check equal to the number of allies within 10 feet of you, to a maximum of your proficiency bonus. You can use Wisdom instead of Charisma for these skill checks, feeling out a creature's insecurities and exploiting them.

Superior Forms

At 17th, level, choose two 3rd-level forms of your element. You can initiate each of these forms once, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest.
