The myrachid races refer to mobile colonies of either arthropod or annelid creatures, primarily originating from the Verashi homeworld of Atobah. Their discovery came centuries after the Verashi had already begun exploring the stars, unaware the sentient myrachids had developed alongside their species, sheltered in the swampy depths of the Hwisiua Deepmire.

Traits

Your myrachid character has a variety of traits and abilities thanks to your unique physical composition.

Ability Score Increase. Increases one ability score by 2, and increases a different one by 1, or increases three different scores by 1. A typical myrachid traveler tends to be intelligent and flexible.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that is appropriate for your character (at GM's discretion).

Creature Type. You are a Swarm of Tiny Monstrosities that is considered one creature.

Lifespan. Individual constituents of a myrachid live only 5 years on average, but the colony can survive indefinitely provided the birthers have ample time (around 3 months) to produce new constituents.

Size. Myrachids stand around 3-4 feet tall, with a bulk but surprisingly lightweight build. Your size is Small.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Colony Dispersal. As an action, you can disperse yourself into your constituents, leaving behind your armor or equipment. While dispersed, you cannot be grappled or restrained, you can squeeze through a space as narrow as 3 inches, and you can occupy another creature's space. Additionally, the only actions you can take are to Hide or reform your body. If you reform in your equipment or armor's space, you can pick up or equip them as part of the reformation process. If you remain dispersed for 10 minutes or more, you take 5 psychic damage at the start of each of your turns until you reform again.

Million Eyes. You have advantage on saving throws against being blinded.

Swarm Mentality. You can telepathically communicate simple ideas to creatures you touch, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.
