We begin at the party walking further down the path. The forest smells of death, and the further they walk, the stronger the smell get. After some time, they find the reason of the smell: a body half buried in the ground, a letter in its hand. Sierra Del Panadero approaches the body and starts reading the letter. The letter is written by Burgomaster Kolyan Indirovich, and it explains that his daughter Ireena got bitten by a vampire . He asks for help to defeat this monster, and calls upon the aid of the people. The letter is sealed with black wax, showing a large B.
As Sierra moves to give the body the rest he deserves, the party hears the howling of wolves. They move closer to each other as they notice 4 wolves coming near the body, and they move to attack. Both Narmo and Sierra Del Panadero try to calm these beasts, but they seem hungry for flesh. With some good swinging, shooting and magic use, they are able to kill the wolves. After a discussion to skin the wolves or not, and burring the wolves, the party moves further, trying to find this mysterious Madame Eva.
When the hour grows late, and the sky starts to darken, the rain starts. Light at first, but with time it starts to pour. They can see a light in front of them. Assuming this must be the light of the Vistani camp and Madame Eva they move on. But Grayson Black finds a new light, not further in the path but at the side. Deciding to follow these lights, they find themselves in front of a manor with two children in front of the gate.
Kevdormu and Sierra Del Panadero decide to talk to the children, with Kokmadon staying behind to not scare them. Rose and Thorn tell them that they ran from the house, scared from the monster in the basement. Their parents went to slay the beast, but never came back. They ask the party to help them, and save their baby brother who's still inside.
They start downstairs, and find the kitchen, the dining area and some sort of hunting lodge. They quickly get out as no one trusts the beautiful dinner laid on the table, and Grayson Black feels the stare of the set up wolves. The find out that the Coat of Arms of the family is a Golden Windmill on a field of red. They find some carving, depicting trees. But when Grayson Black takes a closer look, he finds secrets between these carvings in the form of deformed faces. Carefully listening, he also hears the sound of a baby crying coming from above. So they follow the sound.
At the second floor, they find a library, servants quarters and a music room. In the library, they find much. Sierra Del Panadero gets the scare of her life as she finds a book of her life in full detail to the minute. Grayson Black finds a music sheet of 'A song of Elizabeth' and the words: 'Bull Warton's words open the way. Together with Kokmadon they find the right book and find a secret room. The room contains extra books full of summoning rituals, coming from the 'Priests of Osybus'. With a quick look, Kevdormuknows these are fake. The chest in the room contains a skeleton, holding a letter. Within the chest they also find 3 black, leatherbound books which are completely blank, 3 spell scrolls (divided among Kokmadon and Sierra Del Panadero ), the will of the parents and the deeds of a windmill and the mansion. In the letter, the party learns that the baby son was born dead, that the dreadlord's name is Strahd Von Zarovich and that the family believes they were cursed. Grayson Black found more carving, beautiful at first. But with a closer look the same secrets, hiding evil signs within the beauty. Still hearing the baby crying, they went to the next floor.
Here is where shit hit the fan. Grayson Black went first, seeing a small hallway guarded by a black armor. The moment that he stepped closer, the armor sprung to life and pushed Grayson Black down the stairs. He fell two stories down, and lies motionless on the floor. While Sierra Del Panadero decided to help the poor old man, Kokmadon, Narmo and Kevdormu fought the armor. It took some heavy hits but finally it stopped moving. This was the time the party decided to rest for a moment.
Everyone started to rest, but Sierra Del Panadero and Kevdormuwent to the kitchen. The warlock tried some of the food on the table. Seems fine. The druid started to get some food from the storage, and burnt the book about her life. With the party rested and still alive, what will they do next...
