The Yuan-Ti, who hail from ancient hidden cities in the the jungles of Aiyetoa and El-Batok, pride themselves in being logical and lacking in emotion, allowing themselves to manipulate and scheme in the ways their evil snake-gods, which created their race by merging Humans with snakes, taught them. However, this is a convenient half-lie. While it's true that all types of Yuan-Ti, Malisons, Purebloods and Abominations alike, are generally unapologetic, arrogant, self-centered and egotistical schemers with high intelligence who suppress their emotions... notable outliers were uncommon but not unheard of, who show that their talk of completely lacking emotions is just that: Talk and socialization.
