We return to the game, as the Agate Seekers continue their fight against the gnolls and the Shoosuva that the party ambushed last session. Thanks to the ambush, the situation is relatively easily dealt with, and the Shoosuva is banished back to The Abyss. The party only found a little bit of Gold on them, as well as some flails made of human bones, notably spines, which Volk Lesnoy promptly buried.
Eventually, the party made their way to the fishing town of Doiry, which is on their way to Sligac. After discussing what to do here, they decide on heading to the most popular tavern in town; the Little Loach Tavern and Inn, very popular with the local fishermen and run by a middle-aged human lady, only called "Mama Josie" by everyone in town. After having their fill of today's dinner, a nice Fish Pie, the party rented some rooms and continued their way to Sligac the next day; but not before buying some nice Cod at the local fish market.
On the way to Sligac, the party then found a fountain, with 3 statues of warriors surrounding it. Filled with gold pieces, there was a sign in front of it: "Go ahead and make a wish! Thieving fingers get chopped off :)". After thinking about it, Volk, Dareth Lion'el Griffmane and Zora each made a wish; Zora's was to become free, and as a result, it seemed like she became just slightly faster... at least until she told everyone her wish. The party then continued on their way... only for Dareth to see, in the distance, a little gnome come out of nowhere and take the money from the fountain, as the statues bowed to him, before he disappeared through a doorway in the middle of nowhere.
The very next day, the party then finally arrived in Sligac.
