A Basic Arming sword, often used with a shield rather than a side-weapon, although occasionally dual handed. It is one of the most basic weapons seen on the battlefield used by warriors, slightly longer and weightier than a short-sword it can pack more of a punch, although is very rarely accompanied by other weapons such as spears or longer weapons.
